After a full day of work and staying late to write IEPs at school, I drove to visit my mom who was in hospice care. I hadn't eaten since my 10am lunch break so I stopped by the cafeteria before it closed to get a bite. Then I went upstairs. Mom was sleeping. She didn't respond to my voice.
